# Pagination

> How to browse list endpoints of the Business API with the page and per_page query parameters.

List endpoints share a common JSON structure: an array named after the resource, and a `meta` object describing the pagination.

Use the `page` and `per_page` query parameters to browse the list:

| Query parameter | Description |
| - | - |
| `page` | The page to return. Defaults to `1`. |
| `per_page` | The number of objects per page. |

The `meta` object of the response tells you where you are in the list:

| Field | Description |

| `current_page` | The current page. |
| `next_page` | The next page, or `null` if there is no next page. |
| `prev_page` | The previous page, or `null` if there is no previous page. |
| `total_pages` | The total number of pages given the `per_page` value. |
| `total_count` | The total number of items. |
| `per_page` | The number of items per page. |

## `per_page` limits on the Business API

The minimum `per_page` is `1`. The default and maximum values of `per_page` **vary by endpoint**: most list endpoints default to `100` objects per page with a maximum of `100`, but some default to `25` (e.g. [List SEPA beneficiaries](https://docs.qonto.com/api-reference/business-api/transfers/sepa-beneficiaries/index.md)) and some accept up to `500` (e.g. [List client invoices](https://docs.qonto.com/api-reference/business-api/invoicing/client-invoices/list-client-invoices.md), [List quotes](https://docs.qonto.com/api-reference/business-api/invoicing/quotes/list-quotes.md), [List recurring invoices](https://docs.qonto.com/api-reference/business-api/invoicing/recurring-invoices/list-recurring-invoices.md)). Check the `per_page` query parameter on each endpoint page for its default and maximum.
