✈️ Account opening
In response to your feedback, we’ve improved the opening process to make it as fluid as possible:
- No less than 16 improvements have been built to optimize your customers’ Qonto account opening experience (reorganization of the onboarding path steps, new success screens, return to the partner app at the end of the opening…).
- You can now get more visibility on the KYC status of your customers who have opened a Qonto account, and thus know whether the application is accepted or still in progress (retrieval via this endpoint).
🔐 SCA
Implementing Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) is essential for integrating Qonto and enabling your users to access their means of payment.
- From now on, thanks to SMS OTP (one-time password), your customers will be able to receive a security code by SMS as an alternative solution when the main strong authentication method doesn’t work or isn’t available.
- No need for an associated device or actual authentication to test strong authentication (SCA) in the sandbox. The development phase and your integration is considerably simplified.
💳 Cards
Our API-based functionality for ordering physical or virtual cards lets you offer payment methods while maintaining a fully integrated user experience.
We’ve added the following actions:
- Modify card parameters (limits, ATM withdrawals, online payments)
- Temporarily block/unblock a card (endpoint lock/unlock)
- Report a card as lost or stolen (endpoint report as lost/stolen)
- Automatically create a virtual card for your customers when they open their Qonto account (on request → let us know 👋 )
All without leaving your app!
