Read this agreement carefully before connecting and authorizing the Qonto MCP server. When you connect, you will be asked to read and accept these terms. By authorizing the connection you agree to the terms and disclosures below, including sharing your Qonto account data with your chosen third-party AI tool and the lifting of professional secrecy in this regard.
Important risks you should understand
1. You are connecting your account to a third-party service
Qonto provides the Qonto MCP, a connector developed and hosted by Qonto that acts as a controlled gateway between your chosen AI tool and your Qonto account. The AI tool you connect is operated by a third party and any use of that third-party service is governed by its own terms of service and privacy policy, for which you are solely responsible.
2. Your data will be shared
When you ask your connected AI tool a question about your Qonto account, or ask it to perform an action, Qonto will share the account data needed to fulfill that request through the connection. Data accessed or used through this connection may be processed by the third party you decide to connect. Only grant access to data that is strictly necessary for your intended use.
Once your AI tool receives this data, the third party controls it — not Qonto. Depending on your agreement with that provider, they may keep and use your information for their own purposes (for example, to train their AI models). Before you connect, read the AI tool’s terms and privacy policy carefully and make sure you are comfortable with how it handles your data, including data retention, training, storage location, sharing and access.
4. Qonto cannot control what happens to your data after it is sent
Qonto does not operate or control the third-party AI tool and cannot guarantee the accuracy or security of your information once it has been transmitted. If someone gains access to your AI tool account, they may see information shared by Qonto. Qonto cannot retrieve or delete information once it has been shared, even after you disconnect the AI tool.
5. Qonto controls and may limit the permissions granted
Qonto controls the permissions granted to this connector and may revoke or restrict them at any time. Certain sensitive actions — such as initiating payments — are not available through this connection. Review the permissions and the list of available actions below carefully before authorizing.
6. AI responses may be wrong
Even when Qonto provides correct information, the AI tool may give you inaccurate or incomplete answers. AI systems can make mistakes, misinterpret data, or provide outdated information. Responses are produced independently by the AI tool and are not reviewed by Qonto. Always double-check information from the AI tool before making any decision or taking any action.
7. Security risks
If someone gains access to your AI tool account, or if the AI tool experiences a data breach, unauthorized persons could access your Qonto information, even with Qonto’s own security measures in place. We recommend that you always use a professional AI environment or account that you trust, and that you verify its security settings before connecting.
8. This is not financial, legal or investment advice
Information provided through this connection is not advice or a recommendation from Qonto. You chose your AI tool independently, and Qonto is not responsible for any decision you take in reliance on AI-generated responses.
9. You are responsible for your use of the connection
You are responsible for choosing the third-party AI tool, configuring its permissions, and ensuring proper use within your organization. You must ensure that any persons using the connection on behalf of your organization are duly authorized to access the relevant Qonto data.
Qonto shall not be responsible for any loss or damage that arises from: (a) the AI tool’s processing, storage or use of your information or personal data after it has been transmitted by Qonto; (b) any security breach, service failure or data loss within the AI tool’s systems; or (c) your failure to verify the accuracy of any AI-generated response before relying on it.
10. Our privacy policy applies
By connecting, you authorize Qonto to transmit the relevant account data to the AI tool you have chosen (as described in Qonto’s Privacy Policy) so that you can access and interact with your Qonto data through that tool.
11. You can change your mind at any time
You can disconnect the AI tool at any time through your Qonto account settings. Once you do, Qonto will stop sharing your information with that tool. However, any information already sent will remain with the AI tool under its own terms and privacy policy, and Qonto cannot require the third party to delete or return that information.
